The USB/OTG (On-The-Go) defines two roles for connected devices — the OTG A-device and OTG B-device — determining which side supplies power and which functions as the host. In default configuration, the A-device acts as the USB host and power supplier, while the B-device serves as the USB peripheral and power consumer. These roles may dynamically exchange, ensuring seamless communication and reliable data flow across devices.
